Set your short-term and long-term goals. If you want to lose weight, the treadmill, ski machine or stationary bike can help you trim a few pounds. If you need some muscle tone, using weights will do the trick. If you want your upper arms and lower body toned, a rowing machine or a stair climber can help you reach your goals.
Here is an example of an exercise program you can do in one week: Monday - do cardios. Step on a bike or a treadmill and perform this for at least 30 minutes. Tuesday - perform lower body toning exercises such as squats, leg curls and calve raises to trim your leg and hip fat and bring out your muscles.
Your home exercise program Regardless of the home exercise program you choose, make sure you have a variety you can perform on different days of the week. The treadmill will probably help you lose weight and tone you down, but if you get into an exercise rut, you better have an alternative.
Throw in a couple of exercises to whittle your abs. Wednesday - do cardios again. Thursday - work out your upper body for toning and strength. Do curls,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], shrugs and pull-ups for your biceps and back muscles. Don't forget your abs. Friday - do cardios. What do I mean by cultivating your mind? I mean a little mental training or exercising. Many of my clients prefer these phrases to “meditation” (many people have unhelpful preconceived notions about meditation) but it all amounts to much the same thing – taking a few minutes to reacquaint your mind with the actual reality of the here and now, stopping your automated mind assuming that it knows what’s going on in the here and now – years of research proves that it doesn’t have a clue!
A clear mind is the only state of mind worth being in. It enables you appreciate what’s actually happening around you and places you in a position to act – rather than react,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which is the normal response of so-called normal people. A clear and focused state of mind alerts you to the opportunities of the moment so that you can grasp them. On the other hand, a normal muddled mind won’t notice opportunities at all. And a clear mind, focused in the here and now enables your subconscious lead you towards what you want out of life. Otherwise,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], even if you’ve taken the perfect psychological snapshot of your “ideal life”, your subconscious,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which normally focuses on negative snapshots from our childhood years, will continue to confound you. In other words, if you’re mind is not focused on the present moment, if you’re not in a clear state of mind, you’re tripping yourself up – you are, by your own inaction, blocking all your best efforts, ensuring that you stay in the kind of normal, not to bad, life in which you currently find yourself.

Everyone with whom I’ve worked over the years knows the difference between clarity of mind and the muddled-headedness that is the norm. Everyone with whom I’ve worked has experienced the difference clarity of mind makes in their daily lives – sometimes straight away. But, developing focus or cultivating your clarity of mind takes time – perhaps only five or ten minutes each day. That said, it never cease to amaze me that so many people can’t take or make those five or ten minutes each day to make the remainder of their day so much better and,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], indeed, to make the rest of their lives so much more exciting, happy and successful.
So,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I’ve put together a few ideas to enable you “cultivate your mind” without having to go to the mental gym! First of all, try doing something that “gets you in the zone” – that flow-like state of mind where we are at mental peace. Perhaps you could do a little walking or jogging, or perhaps listening (really listening) to music calms your mind and turns you on to the present moment. Secondly, I strongly suggest that you do some of your habitual tasks differently. It is our daily routine that not only numbs the mind but which ensures that our subconscious mind is given free rein to wander aimlessly in the psychological snapshots that have got us into the daily mess in which we find ourselves. You may think it’s a little puerile (but, believe me, it has had a profound effect on some people’s lives) – why not try brushing your teeth with the “other hand”, getting dressed in the morning by putting the “other” foot in your pants first or having something completely different for breakfast (or actually having breakfast!). Thirdly, we all take breaks during the day (and,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], all too often,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], we waste them on negative chit-chat) – during lunch,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or a coffee break, go somewhere on your own for five minutes and simply watch the world go by. Sit down and simply focus on what you see, feel,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], hear, smell and taste. Don’t fall into the normal trap of thinking that you know what you’re looking at – years of research prove that you make up your mind about what’s going on without giving it any attention whatsoever. Simply be wherever you find yourself – it will enable your mind focus on the here and now – the place and time where life is truly lived.

However, mental exercising is very similar to what many perceive as the drudgery of physical exercising. Did you know that the average gym membership lasts just six weeks and that the average new member visits the gym only twice! The fact is that many people have really good intentions but there appears to be an inbuilt tendency towards laziness or apathy. It appears that we would actually prefer to be not-to-bad than happy, healthy and fit – both physically and mentally.
The point is this. Clarity of mind and mental focus is all about paying attention to what’s actually going on now – it is about being fully engrossed in the present moment and, indeed, what you’re actually doing in that moment. Normally our minds are whizzing around at high speed paying attention to stuff that isn’t going on – the nonsense buried in our subconscious that we otherwise normally use to make sense (and,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], as a result, make nonsense) of the here and now. In addition, of course, the normal mind will automatically worry about something in the future – the things that we don’t want to happen. You need to slow your mind down – then you can really speed up at doing all the necessary and important things that you have to do here and now, without the normal distractions.

President Lee Myung-bak will visit Durban,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], South Africa on Saturday to promote Korea's bid to host the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Cheong Wa Dae said on Sunday. The International Olympic Committee will announce the winning bid at a conference in Durban on July 6.

So, the first thing I want to consider about the ad’s promise is Best Interest. To say you can make LOA work every time prompts several questions in my mind:
• Will everything you request be in your best interest so that your soul aspect/expanded self has zero argument with the request?
• Or, will you need to have a soul agreement in place that everything requested is to be considered in your best interest as a designated experience—no holds barred.
• The ad’s promise must mean LOA will work every time you use it deliberately, and that you will be consistently, consciously deliberate. Otherwise, if we allow that LOA is at work all the time, we’d have to watch that we have absolute control over inner and outer conscious and subconscious feelings,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], thoughts, and words—which means no “oopsies” ever happen, as can take place when we’re angered or fearful,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and negativity-attracting thoughts run amok.

Think back to times when LOA worked for you naturally, deliberately, or not at all. What was going on at the inner level when it worked effortlessly? What did you do or not do? What about when you felt you had to be deliberate (because you sure weren’t feeling “natural”)—what did you do that created results? And, what about when it didn’t work—did you later (even if much later) realize that your best interests were being attended to,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], perhaps in ways that amazed you (once you got over thoughts like “Why me?” and “I’m such a failure”)?
It amazes me to use this “rearview mirror” on my life to see that where I am in life at a particular moment is where I belong (like it or not,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], at times), and that if XYZ hadn’t happened, even if emotionally painful, I don’t know how I would have arrived where I belonged with the same cleverness the hidden life force employed. For me, this builds and expands trust in the hidden force that looks out for my best interests and the highest good of all involved, and assists or propels me,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], when I’m resistant, to my next destinations and life phases.
I don’t see LOA as something that fits into the “One size fits all” category. The one-size-fits-all items never fit the same, look the same, or perform the same—because we’re all different. Play with or try any system that grabs your fancy, but give some thought to what I’ve mentioned here.
It’s my opinion that Law of Attraction isn’t as much a technique as it is a label used for the result of a State of Being, which I’ll explain. And,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], that state isn’t lived in 24/7 (it would be tedious to consciously operate your bodily systems along with every other part of your life 24/7). But, it is a state we find happens naturally at times—without deliberate thought to be in that state—and at other times deliberately, when we apply conscious awareness and thought about something specific. The rest of the time, we do day-to-day life—having the experience of being a human with simplicities and complexities, challenges and wins, voids and fulfillment, frustration and accomplishment.
I’ve also noticed the “deliberate” moments, when my energy is fear- or need-based, allow me to see that there isn’t one trick to use at these times, but it is a good time to see what works for me at a particular moment. Here are a few ways that work when I’m not feeling as “natural” about LOA as I would like:
• Deciding to just let go, which often results in my laughing out loud at how ridiculous it can all seem or become at times, which definitely diffuses the energy so something better can happen—and does!
• Taking a time-out from fretting to engage a walk, a good book or movie,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or doing anything unrelated to where I’ve been focusing my anxious attention.

The crux of what I ask you to consider is whether or not you’ve attuned to what your personal LOA experiences involve and feel like for you. You tap into true personal power if you grasp what this is for you as an individual and follow it—repeat and perhaps tweak—as needed. And that, my friend, is likely the most significant “trick” of Law of Attraction: you, your conscious awareness, and state of being drive it.
The school of thought is that LOA is always working. I accept this, particularly because I liken it to the hidden life force that operates our bodily systems like heartbeat, breathing,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], brainwaves, digestion, and so on. We don’t have to consciously manage these things; something else does this for us—in our best interest—so we can focus on other matters of living. And, if we decide to get involved with how our body functions, we can be deliberate about using our brain power, diet, exercise, meditation, how much sleep we get, and more.
When LOA has been natural for me, what happened was I had a thought that was actually a decision more than a desire—with no discord attached to it. No massive amount of description and planning was engaged. In fact, it was more a general idea, concept, or image that came to mind for a very brief moment. No attachment to attainment was present because, as I said, it was decided on—a done deal, before its arrival—more than it was felt as a desire. I love these moments, but for me they just happen, with no conscious intrusion or influence on my part.

Surely there is one technique that,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], if you knew it, would make Law of Attraction work every time. Do you believe that?
And, the word “want” is used. It’s been said that the word “want” should be avoided because LOA will then work to keep you in a state of wanting. That hasn’t been my experience, because I’ve found it’s the energy supporting the word that influences what happens. When I said, “I want a lamp for that corner,” the word was imbued with the energy of a decision with no discord (the perfect lamp was found less than two hours later in the basement of my apartment building—and it was free to take).
When I’ve said “I want…,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],” and the energy was fear-based need, I had a very different experience. I think the need for deliberate times come my way to help me learn to apply what I described in my “natural” paragraph above, to matters that have sticky or entrenched fearful energy attached. The deliberate ones make me pay attention differently so I can figure out how to be in a natural state of being about something that’s held me in its grip in a negative or limiting way, which may require more than one “visit”.
I believe our LOA experiences are tailored to our unique selves and experiences to help us gain conscious awareness, especially about our interconnectedness with all in existence and with the conscious, intelligent creative energy—not just to get something we want or need. We do want to be able to be deliberate about it at times (like eating a certain way to improve digestion, etc.), which is why I suggest looking at your own experiences of LOA in your life, whether or not you choose to use a system.

Depression: The evidence is very convincing that low levels of brain serotonin and/or norepinephrine cause depression. This is about 10 calories for every pound (Ex: a 150 pound adult should consume on the average 1500 calories/day). Any ongoing intake above 10 calories/pound/day is excessive and suggests an imbalance in the brain centers that control appetite.
2. There are multiple medications that have shown to cause depletion of serotonin and/or catecholamine in the urine. These are the medications prescribed to increase the activity of serotonin in the brain such as fluoxetine (Prozac, Sarafem), paroxetine (Paxil), sertaline (Zoloft), Luvox, Citalopram (Celexa), Lexapro, etc. Apparently as a result of increasing the brain level of serotonin, the body increases the metabolism of serotonin and thus the levels slowly decline because these medications do nothing to increase the level, they just re-circulate the already low level. The same holds true for medications that block the re-uptake of serotonin and catecholamines such as Effexor, Cymbalta,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and Pristiq.
For years it has been known in medicine that low levels of Serotonin and/or Norepinephrine can cause many diseases and illness. Some of the diseases and/or illnesses caused by or associated with low levels of Serotonin and/or Norepinephrine include:
Neurotransmitters are the naturally occurring chemicals inside your body that transmit messages between nerve cells. In the brain alone there are 183 different neurotransmitters. Make no mistake serotonin and catecholamines come from only one source. The amino acids, vitamins, and mineral we eat are converted to neurotransmitters. Some interpretation is required since high urine levels may indicate excessive loss of the neurotransmitters due to medications, etc. Testing is not done before treatment since it can be confusing and mis-leading. Urine testing during therapy may be necessary for monitoring the proper dosage of neurotransmitter repletion.
The SSRI medications are designed to work just on a very specific part of the brain. While this may temporarily correct the deficiency in that one location, what about the rest of the body’s need for serotonin and catecholamines? There are receptors for these important chemicals throughout the entire body. Medications don’t address the deficiency in these areas,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but the neurotransmitter repletion will give the entire body what it needs.

Panic Attacks: The hallmark of panic attacks is “an abrupt onset of an impending sense of doom”; the sudden feeling that something bad is going to happen even though there is nothing going on. "What is the average group dosing to get better?" etc. Following Dr. Hinz lead, our attitude is that "pharmaceutical grade amino acids are safe” under the guidance of a knowledgeable health professional.” If your give kids with ADHD, a trial of neurotransmitter repletion and they improve it suggests that neurotransmitters are involved in that particular child’s case and you are not going to hurt anyone or interfere with other medications. Depression is generally divided into two categories. They are “Exogenous depression” and "Endogenous depression”.
Complex Appetite: Most people have never heard of this problem, but many people suffer from it. Appetites can be categorized into one of two categories:
1. Carbohydrate intolerance. GI upset that develops after the patient has been on neurotransmitter substrates was very difficult to pin down. Up to 70% of patients report periodic GI upset. Although they tended to blame this GI upset on the capsules, it was unrelated to the supplements. What appears to occur is a carbohydrate intolerance that had is uncovered with treatment. Once this is understood and patients are properly educated, the incidence in the database went from 70% to 0.6%. If a patient, who is one or more weeks into treatment, begins to experience GI upset 2 to 3 hours after eating, they should be instructed to remember what they just ate. Usually it is easy to identify the carbohydrate causing the problem. In many cases, it is a favorite food that has been eaten for years.

For most patients with migraines, we can get rid of them completely.
1. Start-up GI upset occurs at the rate of about 1 in every 150 patients and occurs with the first dose and gets worse with every dose until about the third day. At this point the patient can tolerate it no more and stops the program. Apparently the patients who experience this problem in general are the most serotonin depleted. All patients need to be warned about this problem at initiation of therapy to avoid drop out. The problem is best managed by restarting the patient on only one capsule at bed time and increasing the dosing after 3 to 4 days of no symptoms, with subsequent increases in until the normal dosing is achieved in 3-4 weeks.
The undesirable effects of neurotransmitter substrate use include GI upset and on rare occasions drowsiness. Other undesirable effects as reported by Dr. Hinz include:
With the exception of treating weight problems, most patients should have their problems brought under control and be free of symptoms in less than 4-6 weeks. Below are some notes from Dr. Hinz' experience on specific symptoms related to neurotransmitter insufficiency.

The symptoms however are real and may be due to neurotransmitter deficiency. The following is a list of some of the symptoms people with “complex appetite” experience. In general, most patients that we have seen experience only 3 or 4 of the symptoms on the following list, but for many people these symptoms can cause the patient to not only feel bad but they can also interfere with daily activities:
Patients with a “complex appetite” are often mistakenly labeled by doctors as having hypoglycemia based primarily on the fact that the symptoms got better when the patients ate something. This is NOT hypoglycemia, it is a neurotransmitter deficiency and while “complex appetite” can occur in patients of any weight, patients who are overweight and suffer from “complex appetite” are very much compromised. Whenever they try and diet by eating less food, the complex appetite symptoms get worse. Typical of complex appetite patients is if they do not eat something every 3 to 4 hours they experience symptoms such as headache and tremor. This was can be a very real problem, especially during school, long business meetings, travel, etc. Many patients keep candy with them in case they begin to experience symptoms. The patented treatment method can be very effective in resolving “complex appetite” symptoms.
PHARMACEUTICAL DRUGS: NOT THE ANSWER
If you have neurotransmitter deficiency, most likely you have been given a medicine that will reduce the symptoms but are not curative. Although effective to some degree in reducing symptoms,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], in the long run the medications can actually make the underlying neurotransmitter deficiency worse. For example,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], if you have depressive symptoms caused by low levels of serotonin, taking a “SSRI” medication such as Prozac, Zoloft, Celexa, or Paxil is merely tricking the brain into thinking that it has more serotonin. These medications do not stimulate the production of more neurotransmitters. In fact there is solid scientific evidence that they accelerate the depletion of the neurotransmitters over time. This is why many of these medications only work for a short time and then stop being effective. Side Effects of Neurotransmitter Repletion
7. Since the largest source of neurotransmitters is the gastrointestinal tract, dysfunction as discussed above could be a major contributory component. For example - let’s say at a level of 10 you experience panic-like symptoms, at a level of 20 you have anxiety, at 30 perhaps depression, at 40 migraines for example, and normal function between 50-75. If you start out at 15 with anxiety and near panic like symptoms as you take the NeuroReplete, etc. your level will increase to 30 and you may have depression or whatever your unique metabolism expresses at this level. As you continue to the repletion program, the level of neurotransmitter will increase and the depression should resolve. In refractory depression where the drugs quit working, the problem is that the level of neurotransmitters has dropped below the critical level needed the patient to be healthy and disease free and below the level for the drugs to work.
Since all neurotransmitters are made up of proteins, the diet must contain adequate amounts of protein. Because tryptophan is the amino acid from which serotonin is produced, patients who have mixed neurotransmitter dysfunction probably do not get enough of tryptophan in their diet. Because tryptophan has other uses besides formation of neurotransmitters, using Dr. Hinz’ Neurotransmitter Repletion program alone is not enough to regain mental and physical health. Note in the diagram below that only 2-10% of the tryptophan is metabolized into serotonin, the majority is needed for other proteins and vitamin synthesis. Also note that the vast majority of serotonin is produced in the gut. Thus, a healthy gastrointestinal tract is also required for mental health. Your success with any condition related to neurotransmitters requires more than just taking the NeuroReplete products; you must eat and digest enough high quality protein and have a healthy gastrointestinal tract!
Chronic anxiety resolves for most patients.
1. The first is that neurotransmitter depletion is nutritionally based. Neurotransmitters are made from amino acids that must be obtained from protein in the diet. In addition, amino acids, vitamins and minerals eaten in food are required for the creation of the neurotransmitters. If the diet is deficient, neurotransmitter deficiency develops.

1.Find out if and how they cater for different levels of athlete – some camps offer beginner weeks or intermediate weeks, others put all athletes together – both work well it is just more which you would rather go on.
2.Does it matter what day you go on, is it a set start day of the week, or can you say do 4 days only? Not everyone has the luxury of taking lots of time off work and you might only want to go for a long weekend – can they accommodate you?
3.The different terrains and facilities on site or nearby – especially if you want to hone your bike hill skills, you need somewhere that is near hills!! It may sound obvious, but it's best not to assume that the area caters for all.
4.How much analysis, technique tips and ''personal'' coaching you receive – this is not about receiving a personal training plan, but at least getting some feedback from someone who knows what they are talking about – check the coaches credentials,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], just because someone has done a few IronMan races and done well in them, doesn't mean they are able to advise you.
Some of this information could be on the website and I think you can get a feel about somewhere from how well they present themselves online. It wasn't however quite what I personally was looking for, so I ventured off to yet another camp in the South of France with a similar set up and the opportunity again to chat lots to various athletes of various abilities.
Once you've chosen your place, get your dates set as soon as you can, book your tickets, pay your deposit and start to get excited!!!
As I became more and more taken over by tri-geekness I decided to venture into the world of training camps and have now been on 2 different ones in France. Both were great experiences, to be able to spend time with others who also loved to train and loved to talk about it and share stories and experiences and it felt warm and cosy!
My friends and family were at first slightly taken aback as I started doing more training in preparation for longer distances, wondering the 'why?' and why could I not go away on holiday and not train. They have slowly realised it is part of me,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], who I am and it is now also my life as a coach. New acquaintances, unless they were into sport themselves didn't get it, and often these people wouldn't become friends! I even had one friend advise me NOT to tell people I met how much I train (which isn't excessive by the way) so as to not intimidate them. I found that quite upsetting and didn't take that piece of advice! Accept me for me training and all!

Then training began – a little more hard core this time, being in an area surrounded by hills the bike rides were harder and there weren't any coffee stops. We did lake swims followed by interval run sessions, bikes to the lake straight into a swim, pool sessions that involved a lot of drills and mad races across the pool as opposed to down the pool – for me that was hard. This was a bit more like what I had thought it would be, being taken out of my comfort zone and pushed more than I might if I was on my own. However for now – let's think about what it's like to be an athlete often confronted with these questions with no-one nearby offering support.

Whether or not it is a case of the camp chosen or what you request to experience during your time I'm not sure,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but if you are planning to go on one this is my advise when choosing which one to go to:
The word 'camp' conjures up certain images – hard core non-stop training,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], being pushed and shouted at – or maybe that's my impression from army style camps and boot camp stories? My first triathlon camp was nothing of the sort, it was more like a holiday with training a few times a day. That's not to say what we did was easy- a swim every morning,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], long runs and longer bike rides often with coffee thrown in half way round. Dinner with red wine and dessert and altogether a rather nice experience that I certainly improved from whilst having a good time.
When I started triathlons, I typically trained on my own which I preferred at the time and often still do – but it left me not having a support group,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a club or anyone who I could ask questions of and feel ''normal'' with! Along the way I met other like minded nutters and it was great to be able to discuss things with them, find out what they did, where they raced and so on. I still didn't train with anyone but at least I knew others who I would generally meet up with at races whether they were local or abroad and felt I was part of a community.

Creditors of SK Global, the trading unit of the SK group, announced Monday that the unit's total debts within the country stood at W6.6 trillion,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], far higher than their earlier projection.
